Issaquah Quilters is a member-funded organization
dedicated to the art of quilting. As a group with similar interests,
we have joined together to promote quilting through both education
and demonstration, to serve our community, and to have lots of fun.
We meet from 10 am to Noon on the 2nd Friday of the month at the
historic Issaquah Depot, 50 Rainier Blvd. N, Issaquah, WA, 98027.
http://www.issaquahhistory.org/depot/ At this general meeting we
show off our own quilts with a One Woman Show and Show and Tell. We
raffle off donated items, listen to speakers who put on programs,
and enjoy each others company.
Our Baby Corner Workshop and
Basting Meetings are held on the 4th Friday of the month, January
through October, from 1pm to 4pm at the University House, Issaquah,
22975 SE Black Nugget Road, Issaquah. (University House, Issaquah is
right behind Home Depot and Fred Meyer in Issaquah.) Come with your
cutting mats, rotary cutters, rulers, and fabric pieces to cut
blocks and strips AND those who can please bring sewing machines. At
this workshop, we make tops for baby quilts for our charity,
Eastside Baby Corner. We also work as a team to baste
members’ personal quilts when they want help.
To join Issaquah
Quilters, attend a meeting or email. The cost is $30 per year,
prorated in July.
